Anchor Syamala (born 21st May 1970) is a noted Telugu news anchor and
television presenter. She has the distinction of anchoring news at the age
of 20. She got married to her fellow anchor V. Radhakrishna and they
together became the most popular anchoring couple in the Telugu television
industry. She is one of the earliest and veteran news readers of Telugu
Television.
She is also a popular television host and has hosted several shows on
various Telugu channels, including ‘Srimannarayana Geethalu’ on ETV and
‘Sahasam Cheyyara Dimmakuraga’ on TV9 Telugu.
She has received numerous awards for her work as a news anchor, including
the Nandi Award for Best News Anchor in 2005 and the Andhra Pradesh State
Government's Best News Anchor Award in 2010.
